Our classic tour leads you in 4 hours to Potsdam's most important and picturesque sights. Be impressed by the idyllic and quiet paths we cycle always along beautifully borders of various lakes. We start right at the border between the former East & West Germany and cycle on the well-known Mauerradweg, a designated bicycle path recreating the route of the Berlin Wall right to the famous Glienick spy-bridge.

Meanwhile you can admire the manorial Villas of the Wilhelminian style, which were partly occupied by Churchill, Truman and Stalin through the Potsdam Conference. Enjoy at the Glienick bridge the most beautiful view of Europe while listening to the stories of Germany's unification as well as its separation.
Now we head to Potsdam's baroque centre and explain you the origins of the Dutch quarter while the city was built by the Soldier King Frederic Wilhelm I. The climax of our tour will be a walkabout of Sanssouci Palace. Learn about its famous inhabitant Frederic the Great who was not only a dreaded commander leading various successful battles but also a great philosopher and composer.

After a small break we dive into Russian history. On our way there is a typical former Russian military village - why it is there, just wait and see! Situated nearby is the former forbidden town: A district of Potsdam which was used by the Sowjet secret service from 1945 until 1994. Still visible is a silent contemporary witness - the jail of the KGB. At the end of our tour lies the Cecilienhof Palace, the last palace built by the Hohenzollern. It played its most important role when it became the venue of the Potsdam conference.
